Watch Steele Chambers' fake punt run set up an Ohio State touchdown against Rutgers


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State redshirt freshman Steele Chambers impressed with his running late in the season opener against Nebraska, then did not touch the ball at Penn State. The Buckeyes found a new way to get him the ball Saturday night against Rutgers. Lining up as one of the blocking backs on a punt, Chambers took a direct snap on fourth-and-8 at the Buckeyes’ own 36 yard line. Tuf Borland, the other man lined up in backfield protection, opened a hole with a big block. Chambers took off for a 38-yard run down inside the Ohio State 30. After five straight handoffs to Trey Sermon, quarterback Justin Fields then threw to Chris Olave in the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown. Ohio State’s lead grew to 21-3.
