Brendon White isn’t naive to the fact that Rutgers is a decisive underdog against No. 3-ranked Ohio State. After all, the Scarlet Knights senior defensive back was on the other side the past three years when the Buckeyes cruised to wins by a combined score of 164-24. But White says the mentality he had when he manned the Ohio State defensive backfield is the same mindset he’ll bring with him Saturday (7:30 p.m., BTN) when Rutgers arrives in Columbus, Ohio, as a 37-point underdog. “I don’t think anybody goes on the field expecting to lose.
