Which Ohio State football players are inactive against Rutgers?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football takes uncertainty in its kicking operation into Saturday’s home game against Rutgers. Senior kicker Blake Haubeil, who had made 24 of 29 career field goals and missed no extra points prior to last week, is listed as inactive on OSU’s updated status report. Buckeyes coach Ryan Day previously called Haubeil “day to day” due to the groin injury that afflicted him during last Saturday’s victory at Penn State. True freshman Jake Seibert and walk-on Dominic DiMaccio are the options if Haubeil cannot play. DiMaccio handled kickoffs at Penn State and eventually also kicked field goals, making one from 23 yards but missing one from 22. The only surprise inactive is senior tight end Jake Hausmann.
