COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football will play its second consecutive night game when it hosts Rutgers on Saturday. Last season a home night game provided a chance for the Buckeyes to bring back the black jerseys for a third time when Michigan State came to Columbus. Alternate uniforms are usually about the fans as much as they’re about the players wearing them. Without the element of 100,000 people in the stands wearing black to go along with the theme, it doesn’t have as much punch to it. So instead expect the regular home jerseys for the second game inside Ohio Stadium. Fans will watch from their homes as the Buckeyes face a team that they have beaten by a margin of 46.5 points.
