COLUMBUS, Ohio — For anyone waiting for Ohio State football to feature the tight end in the passing game, you may have seen the closest thing last Saturday at Penn State. Justin Fields completed six passes to his tight ends for a whopping 54 yards. (If not for a drop those numbers would have been boosted a bit.) That may be the high-water mark for 2020 as far as tight end targets for a single game. Yet that is not the extent of how Ohio State measures its tight ends, and they kept contributing in subtle ways in that 38-25 victory over the Nittany Lions.
