Today’s Penn State football headlines feature more on Jahan Dotson’s emergence in the Lions’ offense and the school’s latest COVID test results. Dotson’s big game (8-144-3) in Saturday’s loss to Ohio State was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing night. He made big plays and produced against one of the Big Ten’s top defenders in Buckeyes cornerback Shaun Wade, and that performance has sparked confidence in the Lions offense, writes Nate Bauer for Blue-White Illustrated. Penn State released its updated COVID testing results, which were outlined by Fight On State’s Mark Brennan on Wednesday, for the period of Oct. 24-30. Those figures included 1,332 tests with 11 positives and three tests pending among all student-athletes at Penn State. The university does not release a breakdown of positive tests by sports.
