COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has found its second 2022 tight end in North Carolina four-star Benji Gosnell of East Surry High School. The nation’s No. 265 overall player and No. 11 tight end joins Bennett Christian and is the seventh commit for the Buckeyes, who now have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country with 161.06 points. He chose OSU out of a top-three that included Florida and North Carolina. His brother, Stephen, is a freshman wide receiver in Chapel Hill. Gosnell earned an offer from Ohio State in June but has been building a relationship with offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson for much longer than that.
