College Football Power Rankings: Ohio State jumps Georgia as Oklahoma, West Virginia surge

CBS Sports graphic This coming Saturday will serve as a Moving Day for the shortened 2020 season. The Pac-12 and MAC finally move onto the field, starting their seasons and giving us 127 FBS teams playing for the remainder of the year. Florida and Georgia meet as top-10 opponents in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party for the third-straight season. Then there’s Clemson and Notre Dame moving the needle the most in terms of interest as a top-five matchup missing a key piece in Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The top eight in this week’s Power Rankings remain the same, though they do not retain the same order. Ohio State jumped Georgia after a second consecutive dominant performance by the Buckeyes. Oklahoma State dropped only two spots after losing in overtime to Texas. Cincinnati moved up one spot to sixth, sparking further College Football Playoff talk for the Bearcats (5-0). As…
