The junior wide receiver told his quarterback prior to the game that he was ready to have his back and show what he can do. “Going into this week he told me, ‘Bro, I got you, I want to make sure that you know I’m gonna give it my all. You know how hard we’ve been working,’” Clifford said. “I gave him some shots. And he made them. I was really proud of Jahan. … I thought Jahan played well.”
