COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new weekend hot list on Ohio State football, as I detail five things at the front of my mind about the Buckeyes: 1. Right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere His teammates praised the redshirt sophomore for his Week 1 performance, when the Nebraska front threw some odd looks at the Buckeyes. But I didn’t think the Cornhuskers had individual pass rushers who were much of a challenge. Penn State has that. Petit-Frere should be matched up most of Saturday on Jayson Oweh in a battle of top 100 recruits from the Class of 2018. Petit-Frere was No. 7, while Oweh was No. 76. Oweh is a 6-foot-5, 252-pounder that Ohio State recruited for a long time, and he’ll probably be the best pass rusher on the field Saturday.
