STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania — Ohio State football learned during warm-ups Saturday night at Penn State that it had a problem in its kicking game. Buckeyes coach Ryan Day confirmed after the game that senior kicker Blake Haubeil began complaining of a groin injury prior to the game. Walk-on Dominic DiMaccio handled kickoffs, but Haubeil handled the placekicking, including the first two point-after tries. But then Haubeil missed a 20-yard field goal, so Day turned all duties over to DiMaccio. That worked well until DiMaccio also pushed a 23-yard chip shot wide. DiMaccio also made a 22-yard field goal.
