COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nicholas Petit-Frere is finally a starter in his third year for Ohio State football, and it took one game for him to grade out as a champion. That’s what’s expected from someone who was once the No. 7 player and top offensive tackle in the 2018 recruiting class. But it took him some time to get to this point. He’s watched fellow five-star Harry Miller show enough in one season that warranted him earning a starting job at left guard. Petit-Frere’s journey was different, but that doesn’t make it a bad thing. “He’s right on track on where I thought he would be, where we thought he would be,” offensive line coach Greg Studrawa said.
