Ohio State, Penn State could be decided by dual-threat QBs

Ohio State defenders likely still have nightmares of Trevor Lawrence’s 67-yard touchdown run late in the first half of last year’s Fiesta Bowl. The Clemson quarterback’s career-long run cut the deficit to two in what would be a 29-23 win for the Tigers. While there are other plays that Buckeye fans will likely point to for why the Scarlet and Gray lost that game, there is no doubt that run was a game-changer. Especially considering Lawrence isn’t thought of as a mobile quarterback and he carved open the Ohio State defense on one play. That play is an example of what a quarterback run can do.
