At the time he drew some criticism, partially because the Wolverines were the only team at Big Ten media days that preseason not to release a two-deep roster. But now, other programs are following that trend. Ohio State became the latest this year. A program spokesperson said the Buckeyes were phasing out the weekend depth chart because it was “something that’s really not needed.” The depth chart teams release is often a mix of plainly obvious facts and outright fiction.
