Ohio State basketball to play North Carolina in Cleveland as part of the CBS Sports Classic


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The CBS Sports Classic is headed to Cleveland as the Ohio State basketball team will fac North Carolina for the second straight season. The showcase features the Buckeyes, Tar Heels, Kentucky and UCLA and will be entering its seventh year. North Carolina holds the best record at 4-2 while OSU is 3-3 including a win over the Wildcats in Las Vegas last season. Ohio State knocked off North Carolina on the road as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge last season where Duane Washington Jr. scored what was a season-high to that point. That win — where they held NBA Draft prospect, Cole Anthony, to 15 points on 4-of-15 shooting — pushed the Buckeyes up to No. 3 in the country as part of a 10-1 non-conference record.
