COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Week 3 game against Rutgers will be under the lights. The contest will kick off inside Ohio Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. While the Buckeyes knocked off Nebraska to no one’s surprise to open up the season, the Scarlet Knights started the Greg Schiano era by beating Michigan State, 38-27. It was the first Big Ten win for the program in 21 games, since beating Maryland on Nov. 4, 2017. Ohio State has won all six games against Rutgers and only twice have the Scarlet Knights reached double figures, including last season in a 56-21 game. Two of the games have been shutouts and the Buckeyes outscored Rutgers 282-48 overall. All six games have been won by at least 35 points.
