COLUMBUS, Ohio — Despite Ohio State football’s season-opening rout and Penn State’s road loss, the Buckeyes are barely favored by more than a touchdown in Saturday’s Halloween night matchup. Circa Sports installed OSU as an 8-point favorite in its opening line Sunday. Within a half hour of that spread going up, the Buckeyes were bet up to 10-point favorites. The Buckeyes covered as 26-point favorites with a 52-17 victory over Nebraska last Saturday. Penn State fell on the road, 36-35 at Indiana, on a controversial 2-point conversion call in overtime.
