The last three months have been quite a rollercoaster for Ohio State’s football players as they resumed summer training only to have the conference pull the plug on the season. Thankfully, Big Ten presidents came back in mid-September and decided they could safely play the fall football season. Jeremy Ruckert, a junior tight end for the Buckeyes, was one of many players outspoken on social media about the hope to play in 2020. He was asked recently about how difficult these last few months have been. “Once we came in that day, Aug. 12, it was heartbreaking with all the work we had put in that whole time,” Ruckert said. “We had gone home (in March) and done all the workouts at home and stayed on track as a team.
