With the Big Ten back in the football fold, the bowl game projections from ESPN got a small facelift. Ohio State, who was a national title contender in the preseason, will in fact play this year and the new bowl projections are a reflection. Last season, Ohio State won the Big Ten championship but fell short to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinals. Now, the latest bowl projections have rematch for Ohio State on the table in this year’s semifinals. However, it’s not against Clemson. According to the bowl projections, Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach have Ohio State taking on Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinals. Bonogura has the matchup in the Rose Bowl and Schlabach has it in the Sugar Bowl.
