COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 defensive lineman commit Mike Hall of Streetsboro High School is out indefinitely after suffering a broken right hand in practice while preparing to face Cloverleaf. The four-star recruit plays both sides of the ball for the Rockets. While primarily playing as an interior defensive lineman, he’s also spending time as a serviceable offensive lineman, where he suffered the injury on a routine jet sweep play. “I went to pancake the defensive back, and he rolled over me,” Hall told cleveland.com. “I heard it pop, but I really didn’t think about it when it happened. I talked to my trainer, and she was saying it didn’t look broke, but she was just saying that to be optimistic really.” Hall’s regular season is over, ending the year with 24 tackles and nine tackles for loss while also contributing one rushing touchdown through three games.
