Ohio State football’s Ryan Day on Buckeyes' workouts: ‘If they do have a chance to play soon, they’ll be ready'


COLUMBUS, Ohio — If Ohio State football soon learns it can play football this fall, coach Ryan Day believes his team is prepared to take advantage. Speaking on 97.1 The Fan’s “Buckeye Roundtable” program Monday night, Day said his players have been motivated by the support from their fan base in recent weeks and months. Ohio State has been one of the most vocal proponents for restarting the Big Ten football season as soon as possible because it wants to compete for inclusion in the College Football Playoff. “At times like this you learn a lot about who you have for fans,” Day said. “It’s been unbelievable to see their support and our team really feels it.
