What Ohio State football misses by not playing at Oregon on Saturday, according to former Buckeyes


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Over a decade later, former Ohio State lineman Bryant Browning quickly recalls the sensory experience of two September weekends on the west coast. In Seattle in 2007, Browning witnessed the spectacle of Pike’s Place Fish Market, with the fishmongers tossing around the day’s catch like quarterbacks and receivers. A year later in Los Angeles, he saw Denzel Washington and other celebrities on the sideline at the Coliseum. Those road games carried very different stakes and intrigue. Ohio State blasted a bad Washington team in 2007 en route to a berth in the BCS National Championship game. A loaded USC team rolled through the Buckeyes the following year.
