COLUMBUS, Ohio — The NFL season kicks off tonight, and the Ohio State football program will be well-represented throughout the league. The Buckeyes will have 48 former players on active rosters, second only to Alabama’s 54. They also come into the season with the most wide receivers and defensive ends — seven each — on active rosters. LSU (41) is the only other school with at least 40 players on active rosters this season, while Florida (39) and Michigan (33) round out the top five. This list is headlined by 2019 AP Offensive Player of the Year Michael Thomas and 2020 first-round draft pick Chase Young.
