Ohio State is known for producing among the most first-round picks at defensive back in college football, but most of those recent selections have been cornerbacks. Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette are the two most recent examples, but the history goes back to former coach Urban Meyer’s tenure in Columbus. One former Buckeyes safety is turning heads during NFL training camp, however. Jordan Fuller, a sixth-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2020 NFL Draft, has been looking good. Rams general manager Les Snead recently said that the team’s Midwest scout, Brian Hill, gave Fuller a must-draft type of designation before the draft, something that Snead said Hill has only given to a handful of players over the years.
