COLUMBUS, Ohio — While some have already lost their senior year, not ever Ohio State football commit is missing out on the 2020 fall seasons. Four members of the Buckeyes’ 2021 recruiting class have started their high school seasons over the past two weeks while all but one commit in the 2022 class started their seasons this past Friday. OSU commits put together a 6-1 Friday night to open up the 2020 high school football season. Ohio State’s 2021 class holds 19 total commits as the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. There are 14 commits from states playing fall sports but defensive end Jack Sawyer and cornerback Jordan Hancock chose to opt-out anyway. Quarterback Kyle McCord and wide receiver Marvin Harrison could start their seasons on Sept. 11 should St Joseph’s Prep decide to play despite the Philadelphia Catholic League choosing to play in the fall.
