COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football team has 106 days until the early signing period to focus on completing a 2021 recruiting class that already features 19 commits as the No. 1 class in the country. The Buckeyes enter the fall, having checked off all of its needs for the class. They’ll spend the next four months looking to secure some of the nation’s top players without having the luxury of in-person recruiting. A potential recruiting summit spearheaded by the class’ best player in defensive end Jack Sawyer could help bring those players into the fold, but he’s still figuring out the details on how he plans to make that happen. There are five top 100 targets that the Buckeyes are still in play for. Landing all of them would put the class at 24 commits with 327.16 total points.
