Less than a month ago, the Big Ten announced its conference-only schedule. By Aug. 11, university presidents did an about-face and postponed fall athletics with the Pac-12 following suit. Since then, the other “Power Five” conferences have elected to compete amid the coronavirus pandemic, along with some “Group of Five” institutions. Locally, the University of Cincinnati’s American Athletic Conference is playing as is Kentucky and the Southeastern Conference.
