COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star offensive lineman and Ohio State football target Jager Burton of Frederick Douglass High School is staying home after committing to Kentucky. Burton chose the Wildcats from a top five that included OSU, Alabama, Clemson and Oregon. He’s rated as the nation’s No. 125 overall player and No. 8 guard. Landing Burton gives Kentucky all but three of the state’s top eight players, with tight end Jordan Dingle also crystal-balled by 247Sports.com to stay home. The Buckeyes only managed to land one player from Kentucky in four-star safety Jantzen Dunn. Three-star linebacker Michael Lunz is headed to Tulane. Overall, Burton is the 16th commit for the Wildcats’ recruiting class that ranks 48th in the country and 12th in the SEC.
