Haskell Garrett, an Ohio State defensive lineman is in stable condition after suffering a gunshot wound through both cheeks early Sunday. Garrett, a 6-foot-2, 299-pound senior from Las Vegas, was found in an apartment in Columbus with the gunshot wound. Reports indicated blood was seen in the street and the trail led to the apartment where police found Garrett around 12:30 a.m. ET. He was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in stable condition. USAT Information concerning a possible suspect, or further details surrounding the incident, was not included in a media release.
