The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to Fairfax (Va.) Robinson 2021 offensive lineman Tristan Leigh in late September of 2019. It was an offer Leigh wasn’t expecting at the time. “I talked to coach (Ryan) Day and (Greg) Stud(rawa),” Leigh said. “I didn’t know (it was coming).” But it was an offer that definitely got Leigh’s attention. “I was just completely excited when I found out, because I’ve always liked what Ohio State has done in college football,” Leigh said. “And now I have the opportunity to be a part of that.” Now the process is starting to wind down for Leigh. He was originally going to come out with his final six, but recently said he had cut it to five and would soon announce the five.
