The Buckeyes went into the state of Louisiana to land their first 2022 commitment, cornerback Jyaire Brown who at the time was at New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton. Brown announced he was committed to Ohio State on April 22. The 6-foot-0 and 165-pound Brown had a list of 20 plus scholarship offers that in addition to Ohio State included LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan State, Florida State and many other schools. As of today it now includes another offer. “Beyond BLESSED & HUMBLED to have received an offer from the University of Michigan,” Brown posted on his Twitter account this afternoon. Brown has landed several new scholarship offers in recent weeks.
