COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball alumni-led Carmen’s Crew will attempt to defend its The Basketball Tournament championship on its home turf. The $1 million winner-take-all tournament announced Thursday that it will be held in its entirety at Nationwide Arena July 4-14. Columbus was originally scheduled to be a regional site. Games will be played without fans but broadcast on ESPN. The tournament bracket is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday. Aaron Craft, William Buford, Jon Diebler, Dallas Lauderdale, David Lighty, Evan Ravenel and Lenzelle Smith Jr. are among the Buckeye alums scheduled to play for Carmen’s Crew. Jared Sullinger and Evan Turner will serve as coaches. Columbus was not a host site for any round of the first TBT in 2014. Peoria, Illinois, served as the first Midwest regional site.
