Clarkston (Mich.) offensive lineman Rocco Spindler was in Columbus to visit Ohio State last June and was walking around the Buckeyes’ 1-day camp. Spindler could not participate at the camp because his arm was in a sling as he recovered from a labrum injury. Spindler talked about his day at Ohio State at the conclusion of the Buckeyes’ camp. “It was unbelievable,” Spindler told Bucknuts. “Coach (Ryan) Day, it was my first time seeing him in-person. Man, he’s a class act. He’s really down to earth, really personable to talk to. We share the same hobbies. He likes hunting and fishing and so do I. He’s a really nice guy. He’s easy to talk to. “And coach (Greg) Mattison, I know him from the team up north. Him coming down here, he’s still the same exact guy, really personable.
