CLEVELAND, Ohio — One of Ohio State football’s three commits for the class of 2022 will be a bit closer to Columbus before he starts his collegiate career. Four-star cornerback Jyaire Brown announced Tuesday on Twitter that he has transferred to Lakota West near Cincinnati to play his final two seasons of high school football. Brown, who is originally from Cincinnati, previously played at Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans. Brown is ranked No. 122 overall in the 2022 class by 247Sports.com and No. 16 among cornerbacks. He is currently the Buckeyes’ lone defensive back commitment for 2022 after committing on April 22. Brown will be teammates at Lakota West with fellow Buckeyes commit Tegra Tshabola, a four-star offensive tackle ranked No. 69 in his class by 247Sports.com.
