Ohio State starts 2022 off with in-state prospect

(Photo: 247Sports) The Ohio State Buckeyes already have a pair of class of 2021 in-state commitments, and they got 2022 kicked off early as well. Cincinnati native Bowen Hardman picked the Buckeyes over offers from Cincinnati and Xavier giving them their first pledge in the class. Hardman, who is considered one of the best talents in the state, is a nearly 6-foot-4 prospect who is very skilled and is a plus athlete. Known as a big time shooter, Hardman is a threat to get hot from beyond the arcl, but also has game off the dribble and scored going to the rim quite a bit during the high school season. Hardman averaged 11.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore while leading his Princeton High School team to a 17-8 record.
