COLUMBUS, Ohio — There are four teams in the NFL that featured Australian punters during the 2019 season. Among that list is Cameron Johnston, who is coming off his second season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnston has punted 132 times in 32 games with the Eagles as one of the pioneers for Australians looking to make their way into American football. That journey started in 2014 when he arrived on Ohio State’s campus. During his time in Columbus, he punted 211 times for an averaged of 44.9 yards while helping the Buckeyes in winning the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship.
