COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star athlete Denzel Burke of Saguaro (Ariz.) High School has listed Ohio State football among his top schools for consideration in the 2021 recruiting class. The four-star recruit included the Buckeyes along with Colorado, Oregon, USC and Washington. He is rated as the No. 175 overall player and No. 9 athlete in the class. There are no crystal balls on Burke, but should he choose the Buckeyes he’d be the second player classified as an athlete to do so, along with four-star Kentucky native Jantzen Dunn. Both would join Kerry Coombs’ defensive back room which holds three commits. Shaun Wade (NFL draft) and Marcus Williamson are projected as the only players expected to be in their final season in 2020.
