CHICAGO — Ted Ginn Jr.’s 13th NFL season will reportedly begin with a new franchise. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the former Ohio State football star and the Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year deal. Ginn Jr. has played for the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers (in two separate stints), Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints in his career. The Cleveland native, who turned 35 on April 12, totaled 420 yards and two touchdowns on 30 receptions last season for the Saints. While his primary role early in his career had been as a kickoff and punt returner, Ginn Jr. attempted only one return over the past two seasons and none in 2019.
