COLUMBUS, Ohio — Recent surveys and stories have shown that a large majority of college athletic directors are in favor of expanding the College Football Playoff from four teams to eight teams or maybe even 16 teams? Why? Because athletic departments fear financial losses from the coronavirus shutdown and are eager for ways to make more money off college football. And an expanded playoff would do that. On this episode of Buckeye Talk, Nathan Baird and I debate whether the coronavirus outbreak should be the driving force for playoff change. And then we examine what it would mean for Ohio State football.
