When you think of the best college football players from the 2019 campaign, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and Ohio State defensive end Chase Young are probably the first two names to roll off the tongue, and for good reason. Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer tweeted an awesome photo of Joe Burrow and Chase Young The former went on to win the National Championship and was rightfully awarded the Heisman Trophy. By statistical measures, he amassed a historic season under center in Baton Rouge. The latter, meanwhile, established himself as the most terrorizing pass rusher in the nation and helped lead the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff Semifinal. He too was a Heisman finalist.
