What Abel Porter's transfer to Ohio State means for the Buckeyes

Ohio State’s 2020-21 men’s basketball roster appears to be complete. Utah State graduate transfer guard Abel Porter announced on Twitter on Saturday afternoon that he had committed to play for the Buckeyes, seemingly putting the end to roster turnover that has been the talk of the Scarlet and Gray since the 2019-20 season ended abruptly in mid-March. The question for many fans in Columbus after hearing this news is likely, “Who is Abel Porter?” Unless you paid close attention to the Aggies or Mountain West Conference basketball over the last couple of years, you probably aren’t too familiar with Ohio State’s latest addition.
