Ohio State basketballs Kaleb Wesson to explore his NBA Draft options


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball’s Kaleb Wesson will once again declare for the NBA Draft. Wesson flirted with entering the draft last season where he got feedback following workouts with the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics, though he was not invited to the 2019 NBA Combine in Chicago. Wesson returned for his junior season having gotten down to 255 pounds after arriving as a freshman in 2017 weighing 290 pounds and had his best season as a Buckeye. He averaged a team-high 14 points along with a career-high 9.3 rebounds and one block while shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 42.5 percent from three-point range. Those numbers earned him second-team All-Big Ten honors as he led OSU to a 21-10 record, 11-9 in the Big Ten and a No. 19 ranking in the country.
