Kerry Coombs has wasted no time putting his stamp back on Buckeye defensive back recruiting, and has done so both with the class of 2021 recruits as well as the class of 2022. Back on March 6, the day that ended up being the final day of 2021 spring practices for the Buckeyes, Coombs and the Ohio State staff welcomed in a talented 2022 cornerback/receiver from Texas for a visit, Randy Masters from Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek. It was Masters’ first Ohio State visit and he went home very impressed. In fact, right after the visit Masters told Bucknuts not only would he return to Ohio State, but perhaps as soon as for the Buckeyes’ spring game.
