Projecting Ohio State basketball’s 2020-21 roster: The Buckeyes’ have talented forwards, but health will be in question


COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of the many gripes of the Ohio State basketball team over the past two seasons has been its lack of offensive firepower on the perimeter. Outside of Kaleb Wesson, finding players who could be consistent threats with the ball in their hands has been a long and sometimes unfulfilling search for head coach Chris Holtmann. That won’t be the case next season, whether Wesson chooses to declare for the NBA Draft or come back for his senior season. The Buckeyes’ time spent in the transfer portal, along with the recruiting trail, should payoff next season as it finally has the talent and depth at the forward position to keep their offense from becoming stagnant.
