COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football plans to take a second tight end in the 2021 recruiting class, and the list of candidates includes some of the best in the country. Four-star prospect Terrance Ferguson of Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, included OSU in his top 10 on Wednesday. The Buckeyes made the list along with Arizona State, Auburn, Oregon, Penn State, USU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Washington and Wisconsin. The 6-5, 220-pound is a four-star, too 300 recruit ranked No. 12 among tight ends in the 247 Sports national composite. Ohio State already has a tight end commitment in the 2021 class in Aurora Cherokee Trail’s Sam Hart. With two seniors exiting the program after 2020 and Jeremy Rucker’s entering his senior season in 2021, the Buckeyes have all along looked to bring two tight ends into this class.
