COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football running back Master Teague remained in Columbus to rehab his Achilles injury, rather than return home to Tennessee during the coronavirus-triggered shutdown. While Buckeyes coach Ryan Day is glad the sophomore has access to that medical attention, that’s not the only reason he spoke with optimism about Teague’s status on Wednesday. Day referred to Teague as a “genetic freak,” and said his natural athletic ability may be a factor in how quickly he can recover.
