COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball had started to find itself entering what had the potential to be a quality March before the abrupt end to the college basketball season. The good news is that head coach Chris Holtmann is returning the bulk of that roster is returning and more experienced for the 2020-21 season. That’s best illustrated in its backcourt, where the Buckeyes will only have one underclassman next season. Losing someone as talented as D.J. Carton is a significant blow as he probably sat at the top of the list of reasons why this team will be better next season. But the returning pieces showed enough at the end of last season to provide optimism.
