NORMAN — In 2017, Trey Sermon was introduced to the college football world at Ohio Stadium. A freshman running back playing in just his second game, Sermon played a huge part in helping lift No. 5 OU to a 31-16 win over No. 2 Ohio State in the Horseshoe. Now, it appears Sermon will soon be a Buckeye. Just more than a week after he announced his intentions to transfer from the Sooners, Sermon tweeted a photo of himself in an Ohio State uniform. Sermon ran for 2.076 yards and 22 touchdowns with another three touchdowns receiving during three years with OU. The Georgia native battled injuries last season, including a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament tear that helped limit him to just 385 rushing yards as a junior.
