COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day reached out to Buckeye fans via video Wednesday to encourage them to comply with government rules and recommendations for combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. In a post accompanied by a single word — “Fight!” — Day thanked medical professionals for the work they are doing to stop the spread of the virus and help those afflicted. “As much as we can help those who are vulnerable right now, I think we need to do that,” Day said. “Especially the elderly. I think it’s important and they need our support. “The health and the wellness of everybody right now is of utmost importance. So please adhere to all the guidelines that our government has set forth.
