COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program holds the No. 1 recruiting class in 2021 with 11 commitments, nine of which are top-100 players. Sitting behind the Buckeyes with 10 commits is the same team that has beaten them in the Fiesta Bowl their last two trips in Clemson. The Tigers hold just one five-star commit to the Buckeyes’ two, and six top-100 commits. These are the two perceived preseason top two teams in the country and are also home to the two Heisman Trophy favorites in Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence. That’s on the field.
